Sims are still not able to walk through them though. In addition to this, I have edited their placement options, so you can now position the bamboo on slopes, submerge it in water or integrate the various meshes to create a thicket, without having to use the “MoveObjects on” cheat (always annoying). Murano’s two recolours of the plants have also been adapted to the edited mesh and are included. Similarly to the Birch Trees, I have removed the LOD90 object from the seasonal Bamboo by Murano, so that they now display correctly in neighborhood view.
I personally advise you to do the same thing with the buy and build mode, doing so speeds up my game a lot, if I don’t do it I crash constantly and have lag! This means that by doing this, when you are done, when you change the look of your sims in the mirror there will no longer be that lag as before and it will be very rare for it to crash because by now the game has rendered all the thumbnails (the previews of the hair/make-up etch) and shouldn’t struggle. For example, the more things they read, the faster the program will open because it doesn’t have to strain to put all that information into memory every time. Why am I telling you to do this? Because once the game has rendered all the thumbnails, they will end up in the tumbnails cache.Ĭaches are small fractions of memory that store “small information” to make a program easier to read.
You will notice some lag as it loads them and it’s ok, it will only do it the first time. When you open the window to change the hair, slowly scroll through all the pages.
